Do any medications affect my Ava results?
We have not tested Ava while using medications.
Any medications that alter your natural physiology can have an impact on the accuracy of Ava's algorithm.
In particular, medications that affect your hormones such as hormonal contraceptives, hormone-based reproductive therapies, antiepileptics, and antibiotics impact your cycle and your natural physiological state - including the parameters that Ava records while you're sleeping.
Since these medications affect your hormones and therefore your cycle, in addition to some physiological parameters that Ava records, this could affect the accuracy of Ava's fertile window and ovulation predictions because the Ava doesn't know that you're taking medications.
Antidepressants and antipsychotics that interfere with dopamine metabolism could cause ovulatory dysfunction.
