Why do I receive messages to confirm my period? ​

In order for Ava to be as precise as possible, it's important to accurately record your period in the app. We don't want to simply assume your period start date or length and then push your period out if your period isn't entered.

As a result, Ava sends you an in-app message on the day where Ava predicts your period to start. We ask you to confirm the start of your period that we have predicted. Once you confirm your period start for one cycle, it won’t ask you again during that cycle. This also means that you don’t have to go to the logging view (click the + sign) to add them manually.​
