In healthy women, an anovulatory cycle (a cycle in which you don't ovulate) is very uncommon - this occurs in less than 5% of healthy women or less than one cycle per year.

All of the physiological parameters that the Ava tracks are influenced by and sensitive to the changes in your daily activities and environmental factors. We look for patterns in your physiological data that suggest you may have ovulated, but ultimately, whether or not ovulation occurred can only be confirmed through daily or frequent vaginal ultrasound.
