1. Where is the Alarm section in the app?
    • In order to access the alarm section in the app, visit the “My Ava Bracelet” view through the “More” menu (for iOS) or through the Main Menu (for Android). 
    • The alarms section is only visible when an Ava bracelet 2.0 is paired with the app.
  2. How can I add a vibration alarm?
    • To add a new alarm, go to the “My Ava Bracelet” view through the Main Menu (for Android) or the “More” menu (for iOS). In the “My Alarms” section, tap the button “+ Add a new alarm”. Set up the alarm at your preferred time and recurrence and tap “Save”. 
    • Successful creation of the alarm will be indicated by a vibration and a white LED on your Ava bracelet. Also, your alarm will be displayed in the “My alarms” section as activated.
    • If the alarm was not transmitted to the bracelet, an error message will come up informing you that your new alarm is not saved. 
  3. How can I edit a vibration alarm?
    • To edit an alarm, go to the “My Ava Bracelet” view through the Main Menu (for Android) or the “More” menu (for iOS). In the “My Alarms” section, tap the arrow button “>” of the alarm that you would like to edit. Select the new time and/or recurrence for your alarm and tap “Save”.
    • Successful update of the alarm will be indicated by a vibration and a white LED on your Ava bracelet. Also, your alarm will be displayed in the “My alarms” section at the new time and recurrence.
    • If your update was not transmitted to the bracelet, an error message will come up informing you that your changes are not saved. 
  4. How can I delete a vibration alarm?
    • To delete an alarm, tap the arrow button “>” of that alarm in the “My Ava Bracelet” view. In the screen that opens select the option  “Delete alarm”. 
    • Successful deletion, will be indicated by a vibration and a white LED on your Ava bracelet. Also your alarm will not be displayed under the “My alarms” section anymore. 
    • If the alarm deletion was not transmitted to the bracelet, an error message will come up informing you that your alarm is not deleted and your alarm will remain under the “My alarms” section. 
  5. I am trying to update my alarms but I get an error message. Why?
    • Newly created or edited alarms need to be transferred from the app to the bracelet. In case the communication between the bracelet and the app is not successful, an error message will come up informing you that your edits are not saved. 
    • Most common reasons for this error message are:
      • Your Bluetooth is disabled. Make sure that your Bluetooth is enabled at your phone when you try to update your alarms.
      • The Ava bracelet is not close enough to your mobile phone. Make sure that Ava is close to your phone in order to establish a connection.
      • The Ava bracelet is completely out of power. In case the Ava bracelet is completely discharged, it can’t communicate with the app. To resolve this issue, plug your device to power and try to update your alarms again. 
  6. What is the alarm icon that I see on my dashboard?
    • On the dashboard, on the top right part of the screen, you will see the next alarm that you have set up. By tapping this icon, you will be directed to the “My Ava bracelet” view, where you can have an overview of all your alarms. 
  7. What happens when I travel to different time zones?
    • The Ava app can detect changes in your time zone. However, it needs to transfer these changes to the Ava bracelet in order to reflect your alarms at the correct time. 
    • Whenever you change time zone and before going to bed, open the Ava app, bring your Ava bracelet close to your smartphone and press the sync button in order to update your alarms. If your alarms are not updated, an error message will be displayed in the “My Alarms” section and the alarm icon on your dashboard will be displayed in an error state.
  8. How can I turn off a vibration alarm while it is vibrating?
    • When the bracelet starts vibrating at the time you've specified, just tap it 2 times with your fingers. 
    • Another way to stop the vibration of your bracelet is to plug it to power.
  9. How long is the device vibrating to wake me up? 
    • The Ava bracelet will vibrate for 5 seconds at the time that you set your alarm. In case you don’t tap or plug it to power to deactivate it, the Ava bracelet will vibrate again after 9, 18 and 27 minutes. You can tap the device at any point during this time to deactivate the alarm.
